• During warm weather check that all doors & windows shut & locked when going out,

• At night check all ground floor windows shut when going to bed,

• Do not buy from door to door salesman,

• Always ask for identification, if in doubt deny access,

• Ensure car windows are shut and doors secured,

• That outbuildings, garages & garden sheds secured,

• Know your neighbours cars,

• Report suspicious movements
