Residents are invited to attend the next joint ward surgery with PC Trevor McSparron from the Northern Neighbourhood Policing Team and Cllr Kevin Tighe.

This is an opportunity for residents to raise local policing and Peterborough City Council matters directly.
At the previous joint ward surgery, held at Bainton Parish Hall, residents raised a number of local issues including speeding, anti-social behaviour, fly tipping, police resourcing and Peterborough City Council matters.
Since the surgery, PC McSparron has carried out speed checks across the ward as part of his patrols. These have included night-time patrols to help deter and identify waste carriers or fly tippers. He is also working with Bainton Parish Council to use data from Speed Watch cameras to help target persistent speeding and support future police speed checks where possible.
PC McSparron has also confirmed that other matters raised have either been investigated or are currently being investigated. Due to data protection, individual cases cannot be discussed publicly.
Residents who wish to report a crime should do so via Cambridgeshire Constabulary’s website, by calling 101, or by calling 999 in an emergency.
PC McSparron and Cllr Tighe continue to work together on issues affecting the ward, and residents are encouraged to attend the surgery where possible. If you are unable to attend but would like to raise an issue, please contact PC McSparron directly via 101.
